We helped Aussies figure out who’s who and who’s you.
BACKGROUND
Australia is ranked worst in the world for data breaches. Identity theft impacts over 200,000 Aussies and costs the country an estimated $3.1B every year.
X15Ventures and Commonwealth Bank of Australia had an idea and a basic UX for an innovation that would combat identity fraud by sending real time alerts to your phone when your information was used online.
We were engaged to position, name, design and launch this innovation in a pilot capacity to go to market in three months.
INTRODUCING TRUYU
In a world where false versions of you are up to no good, Truyu lets you instantly verify the true you, and take steps to protect yourself.
With limited time and budget in our pilot phase, Truyu was rolled out across social and PR, designed to make a splash in a short time.
We developed a brand identity that combined warmth and humanity with trust and authority - the two aspects people looked for in an online world filled with dangerous fakes.
Our targeted PR approach saw Truyu receive national coverage. We even beat the Australian government to the punch.
RESULTS
Truyu exceeded all expectations for the pilot phase, and has been greenlit for a full rollout.
