Objective

Identity fraud runs rampant in Australia. We are ranked worst in the world for data breaches, and over 200,000 of us are impacted by identity crime every year. However, despite the issue growing in severity, and the Australian government promising to find a solution, nothing was being done. And so innovation scale up x15 and Australia’s biggest bank CommBank, created the structure of an app that could help Australians in real time.

Challenge

While we had the UX, in order to gain traction and take it from a pilot to a fully fledged product, we needed to be first to market.
We were engaged to turn this skeleton into a living, breathing brand in a matter of months.

Within three months, we had positioned, named, designed and launched truyu - Australia’s first app that alerted you to your identity being used or mis-used online in real-time, beating the australian government to the punch.

We named it Truyu you - an app that gave users the ability to verify the true you in an online jungle full of fakes and mimics.
